Exhibition Overview

Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East. It has no rivers and most of its desert areas never see rain all year round, resulting in a serious shortage of water resources. However, Saudi Arabia's per capita daily water consumption is almost twice the global per capita daily water consumption. According to Water World magazine, Saudi Arabia's per capita daily water consumption ranks third in the world, second only to the United States and Canada.

"In 2018, the Saudi government launched the National Water Strategy.

By 2023, Saudi Arabia will increase its desalinated water production capacity to 11.5 million cubic meters per day, becoming the world's leading producer of desalinated water.

The Saudi government aims to meet 90 percent of the country's water needs with desalinated water by 2030, according to the World Trade Organization.

In order to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population in Saudi Arabia and surrounding Middle Eastern countries and support its booming industrial sector, the relevant functional agencies of Saudi Arabia have specially organized the "Middle East Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) Seawater Desalination and Water Treatment Equipment Expo". And the Saudi government will continue to make a large budget and investment in the field of seawater desalination and fresh water investment, which has brought a lot of opportunities for related industries to invest in Saudi Arabia. The products exhibited in this exhibition cover: water treatment, pipes, valves, deep water pumps, membrane technology, household water purification equipment, drip irrigation technology and other fields.
